DETAILED FORMAL EDUCATION

    BASIC EDUCATION LEVEL I (LITERACY AND NUMERACY)

        People whose needs are learning basic skills in literacy, reading, writing and numeracy are the target groups of this course. Students can attend lessons in the afternoons in small groups. There are three groups, each one with personal tuition.

    BASIC EDUCATION LEVEL II   

In order to consolidate what students have learned in level I students work in the field of communication (Spanish and Catalan Languages), scientific and technological (mathematics and nature science) and the social field. These course can be taken in the morning or in the evening

  BASIC EDUCATION LEVEL III

It is a basic formation course which will give students access to the formal secondary courses for adults. Students work on the same subjects as in level 2 and they start with the English language. Just evening courses.

    SECONDARY EDUCATION    

People over 18 interested in getting the Certificate in Secondary Education can attend lessons in the morning or in the evening. Students have the possibility of doing just a few subjects in one course and the rest of the subjects in the next course, according to the needs of each student. There are two levels. The first is equivalent to First and Second ESO and the second level is equivalent to Thirst and Fourth ESO. Each of these two levels can be taken up in two four-month courses. There are two groups in the morning (8:30 to 14:25) and one in the evening (18 to 22).

    PREPARATION FOR THE EXAMINATION TO HIGHER  GRADE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION    

Preparation for the examination of groups A and B. Preparation for the common part of the exam (Catalan and Spanish language, Mathematics and English) and the specific part. The following options can be taken from the specific part: From option A, Psychology and Geography; from option B Biology and Sciences of the Earth. It a year course given in an evening timetable. (between 19 and 22 hours).

    CATALAN COURSES

     Preparation for the “Conselleria d'Educació i Cultura” tests. Levels A, B and C. Morning (levels A and B) and afternoon and evening (all levels). The preparation lasts for one year course (October to June) When the students consider that they are sufficiently prepared, they decide when they want to take the examination.

    ENGLISH COURSES

           Introduction to the English language. Four levels (Beginner, Elementary, Pre-intermediate and Intermediate) Afternoon and evening from October to June.

    SPANISH FOR FOREIGNERS

The first level is focused to all those people who don’t  have any skills in Spanish or people who understand just a little and they need the basic tools of communication in this language. The second level allows students to gain fluency in the use of the language. This course is taken during one academic year.
