Even though in the Barranc de Biniaraix it rains a lot (habitually more than 1000 ml per m2 every year) the water escapes down the fissures of the carstic system and does not remain readily available. And so, after showers, it is possible to see the streams gushing down from l'Ofre and es Verger and join together a little before s'Estret. A few days later the drought returns.
