In the Barranc we can find a multitude of vegetable communities, each one adapted to the surroundings, moulded by the hand of man. The olive trees are the most abundant despite the invasion from the pine trees. Streams, thickets, box trees, Spanish oak trees, vegetation and cliffs, ferns and fissures in the terrace walls.... a whole paradise for botanists Over 300 species: 20% of those to be found on Mallorca. If you are interested in Balearic Islands flora you should visit the Virtual Herbarium website and, if you can do it, have a tour to the premises of the Soller Botanical Garden .
