The period of transfering of Mars around the Sun is of 686,980 days terrestrial & its period of rotation or hard Martian day is 24,6229 hours. Therefore, from Mars the year lasts of 669,6011 days.
|
If we considered to the Martian year formed by 669 days & every five years of 672 days
we are an almost perfect calendar with an error of only 0,0011 days by lustrum or of 1 day
every 4545,45 years old. The subject of the months is more complicated. Perhaps the guessed right combination more would be for the common year of 669 days of 23 months of 28 days & an anomalous month of 25 days. For the anomalous or quinteto year it would be exactly of 24 months of 28 days, therefore, the anomalous month it would happen to last exactly like the other months. Although the combination of the days & the months very are varied. If we were based on the similarity of the terrestrial months we have the indicated thing. |
|
If, however, we did not base on the number of terrestrial months we would be for the common years 11 days old of 56 days & the anomalous month of 53 days. For the anomalous year, however, us block the accounts with 12 months of exactly 56 days.
The weeks, possibly, there would not be changes, since in the calendar of twelve months eleven of them its duration is divisible by seven, therefore, would not be changes of days of the week, except in the anomalous month that is of 53 days or of seven weeks & four days. However, in the anomalous year of twelve months, all are divisible by seven that one week lasts, & its year would be formed by 96 weeks exact of 12 months of 56 days.
However, in the weeks of the calendar of twenty-four months, every month common they are divisible by seven except, like the previous case, of the anomalous month that would be formed by three weeks & four days. For its corresponding anomalous year every month they would be of twenty-eight days, & therefore, they would be all divisible ones by seven. & its year would be formed by 96 weeks of 24 months of 28 days.
The names of the months in the calendar of twelve would not have to undergo no change, since the number agrees not thus but, their duration. For the calendar of twenty-four months we have it diversity very is varied, & each author can give his personal touch to the name of these months.
I consider, in my particular opinion, the use of the Latin names of numeration, whose origin is similar to the gregoriano or civil calendar that is used in the Earth.
With the calendar to hills we must give a beginning him of year & a end corresponding to the first day of year that corresponds to the 1 of the first month, llámese January or its Latin branch. Perhaps, in my modest opinion, the day of the solstice of winter in the North hemisphere would have to represent the beginning of the year. It would correspond to the greater similarity with the terrestrial calendar whose pagan origin was celebrated in the majorities of the western cultures. Sure the day of the winter solstice would be transferred almost three days in four years by the difference of the common year with the anomalous year, that would make it cuadrar the first of month each lustrum. The summer solstice, as well as the equinoxes of spring & autumn would not cuadrarían with first of month.
The beginning of the year can be commemorated when the first terrestrial ship settled on Mars, or when the planet is stepped on for the first time, or perhaps celebrating some important terrestrial festividad. What interests to emphasize is the diversity of dates for the event.
He is illogical to transfer an Era to the Mars planet. Therefore, we cannot speak of Christian Era or Muslim Era or any other type of Era to indicate a year, in this case Martian year; different from the terrestrial year. Questions such When begins year 1? or to what year year 1745 of the terrestrial Christian Era corresponds? Or in what Martian year Colon discovered America (continent terrestrial, by the way)?
They are doubts, that they require a more exhaustive study of it. Perhaps the most guessed right it is to indicate to day 1 of month 1 of the first year, the one; like the terrestrial date in which the first space terrestrial ship landed on the Mars surface. We are before the Space Era, year 1 of the Space Era or Martian Era.
Let us suppose like work hypothesis that the Martian Era begins in the day in which the first terrestrial sounding settles on Mars & this one is Mars III the 2 of December of 1971 D.C., sounds Russian, although they do not like the Americans.

I must indicate that I have found in Internet a direction of friends of San Jose (California, USA) where in its Web reflect another type of calendar for a future civilization coming from the Earth colonizing the red planet, Mars. I consider that it is very appropriate & very good.
I am opened
to different
that you send me to improve & to make specific the commented
thing.
