Columa is a constellation that is in visible the austral hemisphere during the months of September to April in the South hemisphere and in the north during the nights you cold of winter. It limits the north with Canis Major and Lepus, the east with Caelum, the south with Pictor and Puppis and the west with the constellation of Puppis. Its form is practicamente rectangular solely irregular in the sector the northwest that limits with Canis Major. One is to 30 of South latitude of the galactic equator observing in her several stellar rich zones in shining stars and stellar and globular clusters.

The constellation of Columba I located at November 9th, 1985 when I was 18 years old from Can Picafort, Mallorca Island, Spain.
