Eunomia, during 1989 it was at Aquarius constellation, by the way it was easy to find it.

   Eunomia 1989

Observations were maded using my refractor telescope of 90mm. of diameter, and 1400 mm. of focal distance. I accomplished three observations to next dates:

ori.gif (1448 bytes) 23h.36m.(UT); 29-Jul.-1989

ori.gif (1448 bytes) 23h.25m.(UT); 30-Jul.-1989

ori.gif (1448 bytes) 22h.58m.(UT); 31-Jul-1989

At the graphic situated down of this page you can see the moviment in a rich zone of star. August, 3rd., it passed to 33' at north of p Aquarii, only. This date was the key to find it.  Next, you can see the graphic of the Eunomia field ant its moviment on sky.

Eunomia

By the way, the date of Eunomia discovery corresponds to July, 31st. of 1989.  By the other hand, with a Java program that I found on the net, & thanks to Osamu Ajiki of AstroArts&y Ron Baalke of JPL,   you can see the asteroid orbit, distans in relationship to Sun 6 Earth at Solar System for any date.

Agamenon  At classic mithology Eunomia or o Eunikh is represented by the name of one of the hours.
