Characteristics
Horologium comprises of a stellar zone enough star poor man and next to the celestial South Pole that is in a the constellation of Scultor. There is no star superior to the third magnitude in Horologium. He is díficil to locate and to observe his structure, observable in cleared and clear nights.
Horologium limits the north and the east with Eridianus, the south and the east with Hydrus, and the west with the constellations of Reticulum and Caelum.

| Main stars Alpha, a; of 3.86 magnitude and orange color one is to the north of the constellation. Light is to 117 years. Beta, b; of magnitude 4.98, one is in the South end of the constellation. White star located to 314 years light. Gamma, g; of magnitude 5.75 one is near b; of orange color light of us is to 178 years. Other objects NGC 1261: spectacular globular accumulation located in the center of the constellation, near the constellation of Reticulum. Of magnitude 8.40 and 4' of diameter arc. Light of our Solar System is to 51,000 years. |

Telescopical
observations
To date observations by telescope have not been made since it is located in the South hemisphere, next to the celestial and invisible South Pole from where I write these lines to you, Majorca, Spain, although I do not discard to someday make a trip to the seas of the south, and to lose to me in an island of the Pacific to be able to contemplate and to locate the constellations that still I have left to discover.
