ori.gif (1448 bytes) Characteristics

Musca, is a small visible austral circumpolar constellation solely in the South hemisphere during great part of the year, crosses the austral meridian of 70º of South latitude. One is very next to the equator of the Milky Route to less of 10º to the south for that reason we pruned to see in her great amount of stars and stellar clusters.

Musca limits the north with Centaurus and Crux, to the east with Carina, the south with the constellation of Chamaleon and to the west with Circinus.

Musca hspear the date, I have not been able to locate it to be in very austral latitudes from the island of Majorca where alive, although I do not discard to someday make a trip to the seas of the south, and to lose to me in an island of the desert Pacific to be able to contemplate and to locate the constellations that I have left to discover.
