Characteristics
Norma, is a small constellation of 170º square austral visible mainly in the South hemisphere during great part of the year, from February to October, crosses the austral meridian of 50º of South latitude. One is immersed in the equator of the Milky Route therefore, we can descry to great amount of stellar accumulations and stars not very shining. For the inhabitants of the North hemisphere he is solely visible for the latitudes next to the equator during the months of summer.
Norma limits the north with Scorpius and Lupus that also it delimits to him by the east in addition to Circinus, to the south with Triangulum Australe and the west with Ara
Norma update the date, I have not been able to locate it to be in very austral latitudes from the island of Majorca where alive, although I do not discard to someday make a trip to the seas of the south, and to lose to me in an island of the desert Pacific to be able to contemplate and to locate the constellations that I have left to discover.

| Main stars Gamma, g; optical double system formed by main of magnitude 4.01 and secondary of brightness 4.98, separated 27' of arc. The main one is to 127 years light. Delta, d; of 4.72 magnitude and white, dista color 123 years light.
Other objects NGC 6087, spectacular stellar accumulation located to the south of the constellation near the Triangulum Australe, of magnitude 5.40 formed by the 12 stars from the 7 to magnitude, almost has an angular diameter of 12' of arc, dista only 3,000 years light, has a considered age of 55 million years. NGC 6031, precious and small stellar accumulation of magnitude 8.50 located in the center of Norm formed by stars from the 11 to the 14 magnitude, has an angular diameter of 2' of arc, dista 52,000 years light. It has a considered age of 22 million years. NGC 6067, precious and small stellar accumulation of magnitude 5.60 located in the center of Norm to 50' from arc to the east of NGC 6031; magnitude is formed by the 10 stars of, has an angular diameter of 12' of arc, dista 7,000 years light. It has a considered age of 78 million years. |

Telescopical
observations
To date observations by telescope have not been made since it is located in the South hemisphere, next to the celestial and invisible South Pole from where I write these lines to you, Majorca, Spain, although I do not discard to someday make a trip to the seas of the south, and to lose to me in an island of the Pacific to be able to contemplate and to locate the constellations that still I have left to discover.
