Piscis Austrinus or austral fish talks about the God Asirio Dagon. Also the Greeks saw it like a flying Fish that he drinks water of the jar of Aquarius. The Arabs also interpreted it like the great fish of the south. |

Characteristics
Piscis Austrinus or austral fish is a precious constellation whose attention falls to the Fomalhaut star of first magnitude and located enough to the south and near the horizon for the observers of the North hemisphere, is easily located the constellation starting off of the quadrilateral of Pegasus and extending it towards the south three times. It is a small constellation of 200º square located in the South hemisphere, whose latitude of 30º divides the constellation in two almost equal parts. Logically June to December is visible during more time in the South hemisphere from the months; however, for the inhabitants of the North hemisphere he is visible during the months of September to November.
Piscis Austrinus is nailed to 60º to the south of the equator of the Milky Route, therefore, we little see little amount of stars with the exception of Fomalhaut and more. It limits the north with the zodiacal constellations of Aquarius and Capricornius, the east with Microscopium, the south with Grux and the west with the constellation of Scultor.
The constellation of Pisis Austrinus I located the 17 of August of 1985 at the age of 19 years from the locality of Inca, Majorca, Spain to it.

| Main stars Alpha, a; denominated Fomalhaut, of magnitude of 1.23 she is of color white, light is to 25 years and it reveals us that the star is 16 times more luminous than the Sun is located to the west of the constellation easily. Beta, b; one is a pretty double star of a joint magnitude of 4,29; light is to 148 years, its color is white of type To, is 33 times more luminous than our Sun. Gamma, g; it stars white, of phantom To, whose magnitude is of 4.51 which light of us is to 222 years and is a star 63 times more luminous than our Sun is located to the south of the constellation.

NOTE: One is in a zone, very very poor. There is a great difference of brightness between the components, the main one is blue, however, the secondary one I see it red. It emphasizes with facility the colors. It is unfolded without difficulty with the eyeglass of 50x.

NOTE: One is in a zone, very very poor. A slight difference of brightness between components AB exists, however, the difference is minimum if we consider components BC. Component BC is unfolded with the eyeglass of 100x, however, component AB does with 50x. With respect to the colors, the main one is white, and as much the secondary one as the tertiary one is blue.

The main one I see white it, however, the secondary one seems to me of blue color.
